Taste of London
Heralded as the world's greatest restaurant festival, Taste of London was back for a winter edition at the stunning Tobacco Dock.
Stopping to admire a human sized 'selfie snow-globe', we made our way down the 100m long walkways in the cavernous 19th century warehouse space. A myriad of stalls from top restauranteurs lined the Great Gallery, each offering a tailored menu of exclusive dishes for between £4-8.
From balconies above we watched chef's give gastronomic masterclasses, surrounded by guests with hungry eyes and this year's Christmas dinner in mind.
Upcoming talents were also featured - the Fresha strawberry gin was a picnic-perfect pink and a highlight of the many spirits, wines and beers also on offer.
Spiced mulled wine was served at various bars to keep everyone warm and in a festive spirit.
The night was a perfect pre-holiday pastime and a foodies heaven. After 5 dishes we were full but still longing to try so many more. So my advice for next year? Wear your stretchiest waistbands.
