This canal-side bar and restaurant in the heart of Hackney Wick is the perfect place to while away a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Number 90 has also become somewhat of a cultural institution. You can sit on leather sofas, wine in hand (and under a giant disco ball) to enjoy an expansive event programme (including music, art, comedy, film and theatre) on nearly every night of the week.
The menu is very reasonably priced and features a range of dishes all which come as generous portions. The Fresh Scottish Salmon glazed in a chilli & lime dressing and served with Roasted tenderstem broccoli and asparagus was perfectly pink; the chicken burger was another highlightand make sure you don't leave without ordering the sweet potato fries which are some of the best in London.
Cocktails are all infused in house and there are plenty of beers on tap for those casual weekend drinking sessions on the outdoor river-side terrace.
