    Kaffine

With their own 'coffee philosophy' and plenty of delicious cakes, Kaffine is the perfect pit stop to escape the hell of Oxford Circus on a Saturday afternoon.

If you like coffee, you're in the right place. Eastcastle Street serves espresso based coffees from the newly released Black Eagle Gravimetric Espresso machine by Victoria Arduino, which, with it's digital gravimetric weighing system, is described as the future of espresso making.

A weekly changing food menu is made on site each day by professional chefs, focusing on seasonal, fresh, market driven produce with some wonderful special baked treats available as well. I can personally vouch for the custard tarts being some of the best in London.

Inside is a industrial-chic palette of white tiles, oak wood, dark floor, with a stunning 5.5m copper clad counter, set against a neon sign on black oak panelling. Customers are welcome to perch on high tables, relax on the long bench to the back or, if you're lucky, nab a seat in the huge sun filled front windows - the perfect people watching spot.
